Li-Chang Kuo, the Dr. Blacksmith

The first day of the Lunar New Year in 1967 fell on Thursday, February 9, according to the Gregorian calendar. When I went to a photography studio beside the Stone Statue to have this photograph taken, I was 141 centimeters tall and had just turned 13. I was celebrating the first anniversary of my entrepreneurial career: the “ Cheng Kuang Metal Works ,” which I founded in February 1966 at No. 16, Zhongxing Street , was still operating. It had also helped Mr. Lane of the American company Transworld Electronics—Avnet Taiwan Ltd.(ATL) — win NASA’s PTH order , as shown in Fig 1.
